- Who owns the data?
- The municipality does. The registry, taklif rolls, receipts and budget export to Excel at any time, and if you ever leave you take a full export with you. Baladiyati never sells or shares municipal data.
- Is a software record legally sound?
- The record-keeping follows Law 118/1977 and Decree 5595/1982: receipts are sequential and gapless, voided receipts stay on the record, and every money or legal mutation is written to an audit log. Notices, receipts and certificates print on A4 on your letterhead, ready to sign and stamp.
- What do we need to get started?
- Your registry, in whatever shape it is in: Excel sheets, Access files, or paper ledgers. We map and import a sample during the demo. Most municipalities are issuing receipts from the cash desk within two weeks.
- Does it work in Arabic?
- The interface ships in English today with Arabic in active development as the immediate next release. Printed paperwork already carries the municipality letterhead, and the layout is built right-to-left ready.
- How do owners abroad pay?
- The public portal lets anyone check dues by parcel number, no login needed. A relative settles at the cash desk quoting the parcel, or sends through OMT or Whish. The receipt is issued in the owner's name. Online card payment is on the roadmap.
- What does onboarding cost?
- Nothing beyond the subscription. Registry import and staff training are included in the Municipality tier, and each member town gets dedicated onboarding on the Union tier.
